Job Summary
In the esteemed NHS, we seek a skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team of dedicated professionals in Birmingham. This full-time role offers an estimated salary of £34,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role
This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to children with complex health needs, including those who require tracheostomy care, long-term ventilation, oxygen therapy, and enteral feeds. As a member of our team, you will work closely with parents and family members to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented and monitored. Your expertise in pediatric care will enable you to provide guidance and support to colleagues, helping to develop their skills and confidence.

Main Responsibilities
• Deliver personalized nursing care to children with complex health needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Provide training and supervision to healthcare assistants, ensuring they meet the needs of children and young people
• Work effectively with families and carers to promote empowerment and self-management

Requirements
• Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) or equivalent qualification
• Experience working with children who have complex health needs, including those requiring invasive ventilation and technology-dependent care
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
