Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at SpaYse. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Development: Create and implement a consistent menu that showcases seasonal local ingredients and meets the expectations of our discerning guests.
  • Kitchen Management: Effectively manage kitchen staff, including mentoring and guiding the team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee the ordering and stock control process to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service, ensuring that every dish meets our culinary excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive and motivated team environment, encouraging open communication and collaboration among kitchen staff.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all kitchen operations are in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including HACCP and due diligence requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record as a Head Chef in a two or three rosette restaurant, with a strong understanding of menu development, kitchen operations, and team management.
  • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work autonomously or as part of a team, and strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire the kitchen team.
  • Education: Relevant culinary education or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential.
