We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our team at Rullion Ltd. As a Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in nuclear safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior staff
- Undertake hazard and fault identification studies, including HAZOP and FMEA
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative hazard analysis assessments
- Perform radiological hazard assessments
- Develop and review safety case reports
- Carry out ALARP assessments
- Support engineering substantiation activities
- Liaise with regulatory organisations as required
- Develop and review safety management arrangements
- Manage and lead safety case activities and teams
- Proven track record in safety within nuclear, defense or another highly regulated industry
- Honours degree or equivalent in physics, mechanical engineering or related discipline
- Chartered status or working towards it
- Able to produce and review high-quality technical reports
- Able to lead technical teams and mentor junior staff
- Able to identify their own technical limitations
- Able to gain the necessary clearance
