Opportunities for Development

As a volunteer retail assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills, gain experience in a fast-paced retail environment, and contribute to the vital work of Save the Children. You will work closely with our experienced shop teams to learn about retail practices, customer service, and teamwork.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers who can commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week. You should be able to:

  • Work well in a team
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Lift boxes and move around the shop floor
  • Use basic technology such as cash registers and till systems
