Care and Support Worker

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant with Pobl Group, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults to live independently and fulfilling lives.
With over 2,300 colleagues across Wales, we offer a diverse range of services that make a remarkable difference in communities. Our Extra Care service provides registered care services throughout South Wales, catering to individuals with varying support needs, including those with dementia.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing person-centered care, enhancing residents' skills, and supporting daily activities. You will also be responsible for medication administration, cooking skills, accessing community resources, and promoting emotional well-being.
- Supporting residents with daily tasks and maintaining their independence
- Encouraging participation in hobbies and activities
- Providing companionship through meaningful conversations
- Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant paperwork
- Budgeting and financial support
A background in working with older people or dementia is desired, but not necessary. We provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role.
About the RoleThis position offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.15, resulting in an annual salary of approximately £22,744 (36 hour FTE). Additional benefits include:
