Payroll, Pensions, and Rewards Director

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Payroll, Pensions, and Rewards Director to lead our payroll and pension administration team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering excellent payroll services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, with experience in leading high-performing teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth, improving payroll processes, and reducing errors. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, provide expert advice on payroll-related matters, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the payroll and pension administration team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payrolls.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve payroll processes, reduce errors, and drive business growth.
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and HR teams.
- Provide expert advice on payroll-related matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Apart from salary, the role offers a competitive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave entitlement.
Estimated **£45,000 - £60,000 per annum**, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust.
