Planning Consultant, Exeter £25k - £40k DOE

We are seeking a skilled Planner to join our team in Exeter, working on residential projects in the rural planning sector. This role is ideal for a Graduate through to a Senior Planner, covering sectors such as residential, commercial, and agricultural planning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop innovative planning solutions
  2. Prepare policy presentations, project proposals, and tender responses
  3. Manage client relationships and grow workload
  4. Consult with stakeholders and negotiate with developers
  5. Assess planning applications and monitor outcomes
  6. Research and analyze data to inform strategic developments
  7. Design layouts and draft design statements
  8. Present at planning boards, appeals, and public inquiries
Requirements
  1. Relevant Planning degree within MRTPI / RTPI / RICS
  2. Proficiency in CAD software
  3. Project delivery experience
  4. Stay up-to-date with land use legislation
  5. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
