Are you looking for a sales opportunity that offers the chance to build relationships with customers and showcase your sales skills? We have a position available as an Area Sales Representative in the South West region for Travis Perkins.
This role offers the chance to be an essential part of the Swindon area sales growth and support multiple branches, contributing to the success of the largest builders' merchants in the UK.

What will you be doing?
As an Area Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in our continued success, supporting your Branch Manager and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- Reactivating dormant and low-spending accounts and finding new business in an allocated area
- Coordinating all aspects of pricing and account development
- Regularly meeting customers face-to-face to build long-lasting relationships and develop new sales opportunities
- Maximizing and achieving sales and profit targets from allocated existing customers and new business
- Supporting a wider network team to grow sales success across branches
What experience do you need?
- Passion for sales, customer service, initiative, energy, and enthusiasm
- Previous experience within merchanting is advantageous, but not required
- Ability to build strong relationships with multiple customers and internal stakeholders
You will be visiting customers, project sites, and branches every day, so a full UK driving licence with over a year's driving experience is essential.
