Join Our Team as a Technical Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Technical Assessor to join our team at UKAS. As a Technical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in the UKAS assessment process, providing expertise to deliver robust assessments in Pressure Equipment Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate the competence of individuals in the gas sector
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to certification bodies and industry stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry standards, ISO/IEC 17024, and GN8

Requirements:

  • Hold a current ACS Gas Certificate and Assessor/IV/EV Qualifications
  • Have up-to-date CPD and detailed knowledge relevant to the gas sector
  • Experience of internal or external auditing is beneficial
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and communication
