At CV Library, we are seeking a highly experienced Highways Project Manager to join our Civils Division. With an estimated salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Engineer to progress their career and contribute to the delivery of complex Highways schemes.

The main purpose of this role will be to lead and manage the construction process, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for liaising with site management, developing awareness of potential commercial opportunities and issues, and conducting relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with site management to complete quality take offs
  2. Develop awareness of potential commercial opportunities / issues with the project
  3. Develop knowledge and ability in completing hazard / risk assessments and method statements, including alerting relevant personnel to control measures and work methods therein
  4. Carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification
  5. Train, manage and mentor junior engineers
  6. Manage sectional setting out requirements on site
  7. Manage the sectional service plans/ drawings
  8. Assist the QS / Project Manager with providing the relevant information for records and claims purposes
  9. Manage the as-built requirements of your section and contribute to the completion of the site health and safety file
  10. Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures

We require a minimum of 4 years of setting out experience working on infrastructure projects, including Highways, Rail, and Commercial Buildings, with a good understanding of ITPs and quality assurance. A full UK driving license is also essential.
