We are now looking for a skilled and experienced Billable Works Manager to join our dynamic team and manage projects up to £100,000 in value.

Role Overview:

As a Billable Works Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of small building projects, typically valued up to £100k.

You will manage all aspects of these projects, from planning and resource allocation to execution, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

This role is crucial to maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee multiple small works projects (up to £100k) from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Provide accurate and regular reports on project status, costs, and any variations to senior management.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining clear communication, addressing concerns, and delivering high-quality work.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing small building projects, ideally with values up to £100k.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and building regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
