Afinite Limited is seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team in Leeds, UK. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial information and supporting various finance and accounting activities.

About the Role
  • You will ensure the accuracy of financial information in Xero, including daily bank reconciliation, preparation and posting of journals, and reviewing items in the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
  • You will work closely with the Business Support Executive and Managing Director, supporting various finance and accounting activities, and liaise with external accountants to assist with year-end account preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Process purchase invoices through Lightyear and Dext, including matching to purchase orders and coding.
  • Carry out monthly and ad-hoc sales invoicing.
  • Complete weekly payment runs and manage accounts payable.
  • Oversee credit control, following up on outstanding payments in a timely manner.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including an 8% employer pension contribution, free city centre parking, and personal development allowance.
