Second Chef Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Second Chef to join our team at Four Seasons Health Care. As a Second Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food experiences for our residents and team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all aspects of the catering operation, ensuring a high-quality service and dining experience that meets health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Develop and implement varied, nutritious, and appetizing menu options that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of orders, maintain stock levels, and control budgets.
  • Contribute to the Food Safety Management System, including COSHH management and cleaning rota, to maintain high standards of cleanliness in food storage, preparation, and service areas.
  • Practice safe systems of work, assessing risks and prioritizing personal safety and well-being.
