* Be the dedicated point of contact for all procurement and supply chain issues associated with the specific clinical subcategory
* Build and manage excellent relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted procurement advisor
* Proactively manage all spend in the allocated category, working alongside your stakeholders
* Set the category strategy, to ensure CIP targets are acknowledged and delivered
* Coordinate contract compliance across the trust

Essential Requirements:

* Experience of running clinical procurement projects in the UK public sector
* Understanding of the UK Public Procurement Rules (currently PCR2015)
* Experience of direct awarding contracts against frameworks available to the NHS
* Excellent communicator, with a strong personality to engage with both stakeholders and the wider procurement team
* Analytical, detail-oriented mindset
