About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehab Team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and carers in managing complex occupational therapy/rehabilitation needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • To support and educate patients and carers in managing complex occupational therapy/rehabilitation needs in the community.
  • To hold full responsibility for own caseload of patients, working without direct supervision.
  • To provide clinical supervision and support to less experienced occupational therapy staff, rehab assistants, technical instructors and students on placement.
  • To undertake evidence-based audit and projects.
  • To contribute to the delivery of health promotion activities within the service and the wider Trust initiatives.

Person Specification
  • Recognised diploma / degree in Occupational therapy
  • Evidence of CPD of relevant post-graduate training to high level (theoretical and practical)
