Job Title: Grounds Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds Team Leader to join our team at The FA. As a key member of our grounds team, you will be responsible for maintaining and preparing our pitches to the highest standard for all events hosted at St. George's Park.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and prepare pitches to relevant universal playing standards for all codes of sport hosted by SGP
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure pitches are maintained to the highest standard
  • Work with the events team to manage pitch-related logistics, including line marking, pitch protection, and scheduling of rehearsals
  • Operate and maintain all machinery and tools to maintain pitches to the highest standard
  • Support with overall estates management and maintenance where required
Requirements:
  • Possess a minimum of L2 NVQ or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office
  • Experience of working in a professional grounds role
  • General knowledge of professional football
