Career Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Health Psychologist to join our Adult ME/CFS Service team, working within the Department of Clinical Health Psychology at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will have a Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will have post-doctoral training in psychological approaches to physical health and experience of working in clinical health psychology services.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high-quality specialist clinical health psychology service to the Adult ME/CFS service
  • Contribute to new developments within ME/CFS Services in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Registered HCPC Practitioner Psychologist
  • Post Doctoral Training in Psychological Approaches to Physical Health
