Truck Maintenance Specialist

Your key responsibilities as our Truck Maintenance Specialist include conducting routine maintenance servicing of HGVs and vans, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults, performing engine, gear box, suspension and brake repairs, conducting pre-MOT and roadworthiness inspections, ensuring all vehicles comply with DVLA standards and regulations, completing inspection reports and necessary documentation, working efficiently to ensure vehicles are repaired within agreed timeframes, following health and safety procedures including wearing the appropriate PPE and ensuring you have carried out the relevant training for all manual handling equipment and use of tools, maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
We seek a professional with proven experience as a HGV technician (City & Guilds 1,2,3), excellent knowledge of vehicle legal standards and regulations, strong knowledge of HGV systems, diagnostics and repair techniques, ability to adapt to unexpected situations and demonstrate proactive problem solving.
