Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Ellesmere Port. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track progress against budgets and report variances to ensure compliance with local market financial laws and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls to ensure the integrity of our financial systems.
  • Collate and analyse financial data to deliver high-quality financial reporting to the business.
  • Produce key financial documents, including statutory accounts, monthly reporting, and budgeting.
  • Manage the monthly accounting cycle, including the organisation and coordination of the month-end process.
  • Ensure the business meets all statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
About You:

We are looking for a qualified Accountant with experience in audit and accounting, preferably with industry experience. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
