The Principal Education is a dynamic UK registered Charity, working to improve the lives of 16-25 year olds with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through our various pathways and functional skills programmes. Our mission is to provide young people with SEN and learning disabilities with confidence and social support, alongside nationally recognised qualifications.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Functional Skills Tutor (Maths and English) to join our team. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering maths and English lessons to students with SEN, helping them to gain confidence and develop essential life skills. You will work closely with our Head of Functional Skills to ensure that our students receive the best possible education and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver maths and English lessons to students with SEN
* Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
* Assess student progress and provide regular feedback
* Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure that our students receive a comprehensive education
Requirements
* A relevant qualification in teaching or education
* Experience of working with students with SEN
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
