The Office for Environmental Protection is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Performance Manager to join our Business Strategy and Planning team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our organization's success by leading our work to understand how we implement our strategy and plans, and what we're achieving.
Key Responsibilities- Lead our programme management approach, change controls, delivery monitoring, and reporting.
- Develop and deliver our active prioritization of our work programme to ensure maximum value for money from the resources available to us.
- Develop and maintain our risk framework, supporting the Executive Committee, Audit and Risk Assurance Committee, and Board in the management of strategic risks and assuring good management of risk throughout the organization.
- Design and deliver specific evaluation projects and support the Executive Committee and Board in interpreting the findings.
- Develop and maintain our performance framework and indicators.
- Report our performance to stakeholders, including Government and the public, through our annual report and other publications.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Proven experience in strategic performance management, with a strong understanding of programme management, risk management, and performance measurement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the Office for Environmental Protection's mission and values, and a commitment to our goals and objectives.
The Office for Environmental Protection offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including:
- A salary of £51,626 - £58,506 per annum.
- A contribution towards your membership of the Civil Service Pension Scheme.
- 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 days over 5 years.
