Position Overview

The Director of Sales is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic planning, customer acquisition, retention, and expansion. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven strategies that accelerate growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Growth Planning
  • Develop comprehensive growth strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives, focusing on new market opportunities and customer segments to expand the business.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and optimize marketing and sales strategies.
Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to optimize the sales funnel and increase conversion rates.
Customer Acquisition and Retention
  • Design innovative customer acquisition campaigns across various channels, focusing on customer loyalty and lifetime value.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of growth initiatives, regularly reporting on growth performance to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Revenue Growth
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, implementing a rigorous testing framework to measure the impact of growth initiatives.
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships to ensure mutual benefit and alignment with growth objectives, identifying and developing strategic partnerships and alliances that drive growth.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of growth marketers and Sales Managers, working closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive execution of growth strategies.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Performance Measurement
  • Estimate salary: $135,000 - $165,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role, with a proven track record of driving growth and achieving targets.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
