Job Description

The Quality Compliance Manager will oversee quality control processes, ensuring adherence to standards within the organisation. Key responsibilities include managing pest control, handling customer complaints, developing the QC team, and overseeing internal documentation and audits.

  1. Internal Documentation Management: Oversee the management and organization of internal quality documentation.
  2. Internal Audit Management: Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  3. QHSE Action Management Log: Set and monitor deadlines for QHSE action items to ensure timely completion.
  4. QC Team Development: Develop and mentor the Quality Control team to enhance their skills and performance.
  5. Complaints: Handle and resolve customer complaints related to product quality and safety.
  6. Hygiene / GMP / Food Safety Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with site/customer/certification/regulatory standards.
  7. Driver of Site Food Safety Culture: Promote and drive a strong food safety culture across the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality team management within the food industry.
  • Hands-on and flexible, with working hours between 08:00am-4:30pm/5:00pm, with occasional visits to night shifts.

We estimate the salary range for this position to be £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
