About the Role

As a Principal Radiation Protection Consultant, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for providing expert guidance and advice on radiological safety to ensure legislative compliance and adoption of industry best practice.

You will work closely with multi-discipline teams to ensure that the design and operation of processes and plant is demonstrably ALARP, and will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of other Radiation Protection personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing competent guidance and advice on radiological safety
  • Engaging with multi-discipline teams to ensure ALARP
  • Ensuring procedures are correctly applied to technical activities
  • Coordinating the production of radiological protection documentation
  • Contributing to project scheduling
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff
