About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our Assessments Division as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct assessments and produce reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
  • Produce factual reports to support benefit claims
  • Work with a diverse range of customers and conditions, including mental health

Requirements

  • NMC registered nurse with 1 year's broad post-registration experience
  • Proactive and keen to learn
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working towards individual and team targets in a supportive environment
