About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Maximus as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct assessments and produce reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions to understand their daily life impacts
  • Use your clinical knowledge to produce accurate and comprehensive reports
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to manage caseloads and deliver high-quality services

Requirements

  • HCPC registered physiotherapist with 1 year's broad post-registration experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
