This role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home, adhering to New Care's rigorous specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with our Head Housekeeper to ensure the smooth operation of housekeeping services.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all daily and weekly cleaning schedules, signing necessary paperwork.
  • Follow guidance from the Head Housekeeper and contribute to achieving the Home's standards for Housekeeping.
  • Undertake general cleaning tasks and follow any other cleaning duties delegated by the Head Housekeeper.
  • Carry out laundry duties when required.
  • Ensure the working environment is free from hazards and aware of risks when using equipment.
  • Taken responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
