Job Description

As a key member of the External Reporting team, you will play a critical role in preparing and reviewing Firm US GAAP and legal entity IFRS financial reporting alongside related Regulatory disclosures. You will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing commentary and analysis to support disclosures, monitoring progress against disclosure production timetables, responding to review questions raised on disclosures, communicating and escalating to line management, presenting disclosures and analytics to members of Finance Senior Management, building an understanding of disclosure requirements and Morgan Stanley policies, maintaining written procedures documents, ensuring key controls are in place, and representing the organization with external parties including external auditors.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about financial reporting and compliance. The successful candidate will have a CA/ACA/ACCA qualification, experience of financial reporting, excellent communication skills, an appreciation of escalation and risk awareness, ability to challenge issues and processes, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving abilities, strong work ethic with an ability to take responsibility for completing tasks and working to deadlines, and proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
