Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting services to clients in accordance with agreed service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring delivery of all reporting requirements within agreed timeframes.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare bespoke monthly/quarterly management reports based on client requirements, as well as annual/interim standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide complex financial analysis and reporting services to clients, including support with financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with the team to review SPV and Holdco reporting and financial statements, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Professional Qualification: A professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA or CIMA) is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - are essential for this role.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to deliver high-quality financial reporting services.
  • Time Management: Good time management and prioritisation skills are necessary to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
Work Experience:
  • Financial Reporting Experience: Should have experience of preparing financial statements and accounting for transactions in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102.
  • Property Accounting Experience: Property Accounting experience would be advantageous.
  • Computer Skills: Excellent Computer Skills - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project and PowerPoint); experience of the TBS TRAMPS and Yardi systems would be advantageous.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, life assurance, and opportunities for professional development.
