Data Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Comunidadlift. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data pipelines, tables, views, and processes within Google Cloud Platform's BigQuery environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines that efficiently collect, process, and transform data from various sources into BigQuery.
- Create and manage tables and views in BigQuery to ensure data is structured, accessible, and optimized for analysis.
- Collaborate with the performance technology team to optimize data pipelines and processes for maximum speed and efficiency.
- Integrate data from different sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Leverage your knowledge of machine learning to integrate predictive analytics and AI capabilities into data pipelines and processes.
- Document and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, tables, and views.
- Identify and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in data engineering, with a focus on designing and optimizing data pipelines.
- Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
- Experience with data modelling and database design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Knowledge of machine learning and its application in data pipelines (advantageous).
