Job Summary

Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our rail engines, transmission, powerpacks, and cooler groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and testing of production power products in line with work instructions
  • Ensuring products meet testing requirements
  • Recording accurate data for traceability
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation
  • Developing testing requirements for future products
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Liaising with production on technical issues
  • Collaborating with colleagues and working as a team
  • Mentoring trainees and apprentices
  • Collecting failure data and providing feedback to Engineering
  • Working overtime as required
  • Adhering to company Health, Safety & Environmental instructions
  • Carrying out additional duties as instructed by your line manager
