Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Publicity Assistant to provide administrative support to our publicity team and assist in the day-to-day running of the Press Office.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work calmly under pressure, and be a strong team player.

Key responsibilities will include answering and responding to media enquiries, preparing press releases and mailings, liaising with authors, agents and booksellers, and coordinating travel plans and schedules.

The role will also involve accompanying authors to local and national events in a confident and professional manner.

  • Provide administrative support to the publicity team
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the Press Office
  • Answer and respond to media enquiries
  • Prepare press releases and mailings
  • Liaise with authors, agents and booksellers
  • Coordinate travel plans and schedules
