Job Title: Secondary SEN TutorJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Secondary SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Tutor, you will provide tailored support and guidance to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their academic goals and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with SEN, taking into account their specific needs and learning styles
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students achieve their academic goals, using a range of teaching methods and resources
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure students make progress
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development, including teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a secondary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs, using a range of teaching strategies and resources
Working Conditions:

The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to secondary school students in the Berkshire area. The tutor will need to travel to different schools as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
