Special Educational Needs Tutor Wanted

We are seeking a part-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) tutor to provide tailored educational support to students in maths, English, and science subjects. The ideal candidate will have a high level of experience in SEN and be willing to work around 10-15 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of students with SEN
  • Deliver tuition in maths, English, and science subjects, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Assess students' progress and communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with SEN, with a minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of the UK education system and excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this part-time position will be £25 per hour, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. As a tutor with Teaching Personnel, you will also have access to free child protection and prevent duty training, as well as a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.


Working Conditions:

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of extension. The flexible schedule will be based on student availability, and you will be required to work around 10-15 hours per week.
