Job Opportunity

Compass Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered General Manager to lead our client's luxury nursing and residential home in the Newbury area.

About the Role

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and services to residents.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of healthcare professionals and support staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
  • Financial Management: Manage the home's budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Community Relations: Represent the home in the local community and maintain a positive image.
  • Quality Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the quality of care and services.

Requirements

  • Nurse qualified with an active PIN (RGN / RMN / RNLD)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial role within a nursing home, ideally focused within the luxury care market.
  • Previous experience of managing a large-sized nursing home, and a strong track record of CQC compliance
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven track record of success, and the ability to thrive in an autonomous role.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
