Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Executive Director to lead our premium health and racquets operator in Newbury. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving multiple income streams across memberships, retail, food and beverage, and coaching and activity programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 6000 members and a multimillion-pound turnover across a large sporting and leisure complex.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team to deliver outstanding service, coaching, and interaction during every member's visit.
  • Drive operational standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, preferably in the health and fitness, hotel, retail, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive financial results.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and direct a team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Passion for a healthy lifestyle and ability to work a flexible schedule, including duty management shifts and one weekend in two.
