About this exciting opportunity

Parkinson's UK is seeking a highly skilled Community Fundraiser to join our dynamic team in the East & Highlands of Scotland.

This home-based role involves developing and delivering ambitious local fundraising plans to maximise support and achieve financial targets. You\'ll engage with current and potential supporters to generate leads and raise funds for the charity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering local fundraising plans and budgets to achieve financial targets.
  • Actively supporting and motivating a portfolio of individual supporters to fundraise for Parkinson\'s UK.
  • Leading the development and delivery of fundraising activities, including community events and corporate partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of general fundraising principles and at least two of the following disciplines: community, events, corporate and major donors.
  • Experience of setting and managing budgets to achieve agreed targets.
  • Ability to identify and maximise opportunities to grow and develop income.

Interviews for this role will be held shortly.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact for Parkinson\'s UK.

The successful candidate will be required to provide their own broadband service with a minimum download speed of 2Mb, have a confidential workspace, and be able to travel around the region regularly without reliance on public transport.

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.


We are looking for someone who is passionate about fundraising and has excellent relationship-building skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to develop and deliver local fundraising plans, build strong relationships with supporters, and lead the development of fundraising activities.
