About the Role

This position is part of our Technical Graduate Programme, designed to equip recent graduates with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the IT industry.

As a Commercial Financial IT Graduate, you will play a key role in the development, testing, and delivery of technical solutions across various sectors, including Government, Energy & Utilities, Retail, Oil & Gas, Health, Financial services, and Manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Empowering innovation through the development of technical solutions.
  • Collaborating with cutting-edge technologies, such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, IoT, and more.

Locations

We recruit Technical Graduates for our roles across the UK, including Aberdeen, Bridgend, Bristol, Chippenham, Edinburgh, Gloucester, Leatherhead, Leicester, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Reading, Scottish Borders and Solihull.

As a consultancy, you may be required to work in different locations, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are key.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 2:2 degree in computer science, engineering, physics, maths, or a related STEM field.
  • Flexibility to travel and work on projects across the UK.
  • Security clearance requirements.

A strong technical foundation with experience and/or knowledge of programming, problem-solving, data analysis or systems development would be beneficial for this role.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in languages such as:

  • C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, C#

Knowledge of or experience with:

  • Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • DevOps tools (e.g., Git)
  • Machine Learning/AI technologies
  • Software Development: Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Networking & Cybersecurity: Familiarity with networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity practices is a strong plus, especially in defence-related projects.
  • Database Knowledge: Skills in databases like SQL, NoSQL, or data analytics tools.
