About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at Aggreko, a global leader in energy solutions. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying and implementing the right controls solutions for our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) fleets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement controls solutions for BESS fleets, including proof of concept, FAT, SAT, and due diligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of controls solutions with other systems.
  • Train and support less experienced personnel on controls development, testing, and simulation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in controls solutions for BESS and generators.
Requirements
  • Electrical or Electronic or Controls Engineering degree (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of CODESYS programming and controls solutions available for BESS and generators.
  • At least 3 years of experience with controls development, testing, simulation, and applications in the rentals space.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
