About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at Aggreko, a global leader in energy solutions. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying and implementing the right controls solutions for our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) fleets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement controls solutions for BESS fleets, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct Proof of Concept for various applications, FAT, SAT, due diligence, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of controls solutions.
  • Train and support less experienced personnel in controls development, testing, and simulation.
Requirements
  • Electrical or Electronic or Controls Engineering degree (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of CODESYS programming and controls solutions available for BESS and Generators.
  • Experience with controls development, testing, simulation, and applications in the rentals space.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
