We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in the Winchester area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Inspire students to develop their reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored feedback
  • Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this role would be suitable for both experienced teachers and ECT/NQT's
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to student development and academic excellence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
