English Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Winchester. The successful candidate will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of literature and language.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, inspiring them to develop their reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored feedback to support their academic development.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and academic excellence.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this role would be suitable for both experienced teachers and ECT/NQTs.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English, with excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student development and academic excellence, with a focus on delivering high-quality education.
