About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow to join our team in the Department of Medicine at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work at Registrar level and be competent in managing acutely unwell patients with remote supervision as delegated by the ward consultant.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide and demonstrate clinical leadership to the Junior Clinical fellows and wider MDT as well as teaching junior members of the team. The candidate must have at least 2 years clinical experience at CT/ IMT level (or equivalent) and should ideally have clinical experience at IMT3+ level (or equivalent). The post will be available from September 2024 for 1 year, with the possibility of extension if the need arises.
Person Specification
The candidate must have:
- Eligibility or valid / relevant GMC registration
- Indication of career path in Medicine
Desirable Qualifications
Post graduate qualification in Medical Education
MRCP or equivalent
Desirable Experience
Experience working in an Acute NHS setting
