At University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Service Lead to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of physiotherapy services in neurological environments.

About the Role

We are looking for a Band 6 qualified physiotherapist with experience in leading teams and managing services. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating the physiotherapy service provided to in-patient and out-patient neurology environments.

As a service lead, you will take a lead role in the advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment of patients in neurology environments who may have highly complex needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining records as an autonomous practitioner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans to improve the quality of physiotherapy services in neurological environments
  • Lead a team of physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Experience of working in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physiotherapy practices in neurological environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
