Job Title: Reading Companion for Adults with Learning Disabilities
Location: Redhill
About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a reading companion for adults with learning disabilities. In this rewarding role, you will provide companionship and support to individuals by spending quality time with them, engaging in activities, and reading to them.
Key Responsibilities:
- To visit individuals at our service and engage in activities such as reading, chatting, and socializing.
- To provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their well-being and happiness.
- To maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals, adhering to SeeAbility's data protection policies.
Requirements:
- A good sense of humour and ability to build rapport with individuals.
- Punctuality and reliability, ensuring regular visits and commitments.
- Kindness, empathy, and patience when interacting with individuals.
- The ability to deal with confidential information and adhere to SeeAbility's data protection policies.
