Personal Development Assistant

The Guideposts Trust is seeking a Support Worker to join our team at the Stroud Community Hub. As a key member of our support team, you will work closely with service users to deliver programmes of activities linked to their support plans and personal goals.
Main Duties
- Work collaboratively with service users and their families or support networks to deliver all aspects of the support plan.
- Promote independence, personal development, and achievement of goals through effective communication and guidance.
- Communicate effectively with other professionals, such as health services and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support for service users.
Key Skills and Qualities
- Person-centred approach to all aspects of work.
- Ability to work flexibly and reliably across various hours Monday to Friday between 9-16.
- Good people skills, including being a good listener and participative team member.
