Job Description:

As a Band 7 Physiotherapist in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and treatment of patients, ensuring appropriate pathways of care and communication with the wider MDT. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and provide effective leadership of therapy staff within the Emergency Floor environment, including rostering over a 7-day service, supervision and training of junior staff.
  • To develop and implement physiotherapy services that meet the needs of patients, ensuring high standards of clinical practice, including service development/monitoring, audits and projects.
  • To communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Physiotherapy
  • Grad. Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with HCPC
  • Post Graduate courses in Management at various levels/equivalent
  • Post-Graduate courses in a variety of specialities/clinical education.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £46,148 - £52,809 per annum, pro rata. We also offer a range of benefits, including excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.
