We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team as SEN Teaching Assistants in Southampton.

About the Job:

  1. Play a key role in supporting students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  2. Work closely with teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting teaching materials to meet diverse student needs.
  3. Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional growth among students.
  4. Develop strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant qualification in Education or a related field, with experience working with students with SEN.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  3. Patience, empathy, and adaptability, with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.

Key Information:

  • Salary range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Estimated salary range based on national averages: £26,500 - £36,100 per annum.
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
