Detailed Job Description:

CV-Library is seeking a highly motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team, working in partnership with local schools to deliver outstanding education services.

Daily Rate: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide individual and small group support to children, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Hold NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Have a good understanding of the primary Curriculum
  • Can provide support for all pupils, including those with SEND
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
