**Job Title:** Procurement Governance Lead

**Location:** Flexible locations within the UK, including York, Norwich, Bristol, Perth and London offices

**Salary:** Up to £95,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus opportunity of up to 12% of annual salary.

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Procurement Governance Lead with expertise in third party risk management to join our team at Aviva plc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team focused on third party risk, policy and governance whilst overseeing the development and implementation of third party risk management frameworks and processes across the organisation.

You will play a key role in minimising supply risk across the Aviva Group through maintenance, embedding and oversight of Aviva's Procurement and Outsourcing Business Standard. This involves driving risk oversight and mitigation within Group Procurement, representing Group Procurement in reviewing all regulatory change impacting Aviva's supply chain and delivering procurement planning, financial oversight (budgets, recharges, savings & decrements), internal and external performance material, and stakeholder packs to support the Procurement Director and SLT in the successful running and oversighting of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective third party risk management frameworks and processes across the organisation
  2. Manage a team focused on third party risk, policy and governance
  3. Drive risk oversight and mitigation within Group Procurement
  4. Represent Group Procurement in reviewing all regulatory change impacting Aviva's supply chain
  5. Deliver procurement planning, financial oversight (budgets, recharges, savings & decrements), internal and external performance material, and stakeholder packs to support the Procurement Director and SLT

Requirements:

  1. Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in a related field
  2. Proven track record of managing teams and developing effective policies and procedures
  3. Strong knowledge of risk and governance methodologies and their application
  4. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
  5. Ability to think critically and make informed decisions
